Terms & Conditions

5th House Art & Decor

These Terms & Conditions apply to all products and services provided by 5th House. By placing an order, approving a design, or making payment, the client agrees to the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

5th House Art & Decor offers:

  • Custom wallpaper design and printed wallpaper products
  • Custom and curated wall art products
  • Design-led wall décor solutions

All products are made to order based on client-approved specifications.

2. Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed only after:

  • Final design and product details are approved in writing (email/WhatsApp), and
  • Advance payment is received

Verbal confirmations are not binding.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • Pricing is based on design complexity, size, material, and product type.
  • An advance payment is mandatory to initiate work.
  • Balance payment (if any) must be cleared before or at the time of delivery.
  • Once printing or production begins, payments are non-refundable.

4. Design & Product Approval

  • Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing:
    • Final artwork
    • Colors
    • Size, layout, and material
  • Once approval is given, the design/product is considered final and locked.
  • Any changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and revised timelines.

5. Project Timeline

  • Standard turnaround time for wallpaper projects:
    Design → Printing → Delivery: 5–7 working days
  • Wall art delivery timelines may vary depending on the product type.
  • Delays caused due to late approvals, payment delays, or external factors are not the studio’s responsibility.

6. Custom-Made Product Policy

  • All wallpapers and wall art products are custom-designed and produced on order.
  • Due to their customized nature, these products cannot be resold or reused.

7. Return & Replacement Policy

No Return Policy

  • Returns or exchanges are not accepted once:

    • Design/product approval is given, or
    • Printing/production has started, or
    • The product has been delivered

This applies to both wallpaper printed products and wall art.

Replacement Policy (Manufacturing Defects Only)

Replacement is applicable only in case of:

  • Printing defects
  • Material defects
  • Incorrect product supplied due to studio error

Conditions:

  • Issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Photo/video evidence must be provided.
  • Products must be unused and in original condition.

Approved cases will be reprinted or replaced at no additional cost.

8. Non-Eligible Cases for Return or Replacement

Return, replacement, or refund will not be applicable for:

  • Minor color variations due to screen-to-print differences
  • Client-approved design, size, or color preferences
  • Damage during or after installation by the client or third party
  • Improper handling or storage after delivery
  • Delays caused by courier or logistics partners

9. Installation & Usage Disclaimer

  • Installation (if done by third parties) is outside the studio’s responsibility.
  • Any damage caused during installation, mounting, or usage is not covered under return or replacement.
  • Proper handling and installation are the client’s responsibility after delivery.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All designs, artworks, and concepts remain the intellectual property of 5th House Design Studio until full payment is received.
  • The studio reserves the right to showcase completed work for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes.
    Unauthorized reproduction or resale is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • The studio’s liability, if any, is limited to the value of the product or service provided.
  • The studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or post-delivery damages.

12. Force Majeure

The studio is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or supply chain disruptions.

13. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the studio’s registered city/state.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, approving the design or product, or making payment, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, including the Return & Replacement Policy.
